Prom will be held in the gym on May 12th starting at 7 PM.
Our theme is Hawaii!
Admission will be $3 for students and $5 for community members. The admission cost helps us replenish our student accounts budget so that students can host more events like prom.
The entire prom will run 7PM to 12 AM.
-3/4 grades will come 7 to 8.
-5/6 grades will come 8 to 9.
-7-12 grades and community will be there from 9-12.
* Eligibility will be decided by attendance and citizenship.
The theme for this year's prom is "Hawaiian Luau." Our gym will be decorated in bright, tropical colors. We plan to have grass skirts, lei, and tons of decorations from the Aloha state! Food will be served, and small prizes and favors will be given out. Make sure you cast your vote for King and Queen!
Student Government will host a dance off competition, a limbo competition, and an "Alaskan Dunk Tank" event. During the Alaskan Dunk Tank, participants will place money in boxes labeled with school staff faces. The staff member with the most money in their box will have to wade out into the river fully clothed, on camera.

All songs will be chosen by the students, unless there are not enough songs to get through the night.
We want everyone to have fun at Prom, but good behavior is expected for all students and community members. There is absolutely no alcohol, tobacco, or drugs of any kind on school property. Behavior should be appropriate for a school setting (no cussing, no "grinding," no public displays of affection, etc). Participants who violate any LKSD or Eek School policies will be asked to leave.
